Governor Jay Inslee once again proved what a phony he is.

RELATED: Dori says Gov. Inslee is an embarrassment to Washington

Gov. Inslee was on MSNBC talking about Washington state this morning. According to Inslee, “progressive values” have created a paradise in Washington that is “a model for the country.”

Inslee has to ignore the fact that Seattle, among the 20 largest cities in the country, is number-one in property crime. We have the worst homelessness problem per capita in the United States. We have the worst traffic that we’ve ever had.

Mr. Governor, you are painting a rather distorted picture of Washington state. A guy was attacked with a hatchet downtown Seattle Wednesday night, the night before Inslee’s interview. And 24 hours before that, a guy was shot in a drug deal gone bad. The day before that, a 40-year-old woman who was just trying to get her car serviced at a dealership in Ballard was brutally raped in the bathroom.

We have people getting raped and stabbed and shot because of the drug addiction and homelessness that is everywhere. So don’t try telling us everything is perfect.

How do you talk about net neutrality when you have homeless people raping women? When you have tents taking up so many streets in your largest city?

We Washingtonians know that there are significant problems. And when you go on national TV ignoring all of that and trying to paint this rosy picture, it doesn’t look very good.
