Check the toll before you go: WSDOT’s new online I-405 tool

Drivers navigating the I-405 tolling system now have a new tool to use before they hit the road.
The Washington State Department of Transportation announced Tuesday that it developed a new online tool that allows drivers to check online for the updated toll prices along I-405.
The online I-405 map not only shows the tolls at different points along the corridor, it also shows traffic volumes drivers can expect on the freeway. The heavier the volumes, the more likely there will be slower speeds.
WSDOT notes that the toll rates online are about 5 minutes behind the rates posted on signs along I-405. So there can be a difference between the tolls seen online and the tolls charged to drivers at the same time.
