I-5 in Mount Vernon reopens after crash closed interstate

All southbound lanes of I-5 in Mount Vernon are open after a car crash closed them Thursday morning.

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) said the crash happened around 3:30 a.m. at Anderson Road in Mount Vernon.

The roadway reopened just after 5 a.m.
