Motorcyclist killed in I-5 crash
The Washington State Patrol was investigating a crash that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
The driver of a car and the motorcyclist were headed north on I-5 when at least one of them tried to change lanes, according to WSP Trooper John Dattilo. The two vehicles then collided, and the motorcyclist was ejected onto I-5 south.
I am saddened to announce the motorcyclist has died. Expect heavy traffic in the area while we investigate.
The driver of the car is not intoxicated and is cooperating with the investigation.
