All lanes of southbound SR 525 blocked in Mukilteo after fatal hit-and-run motorcycle crash

All lanes of southbound SR 525 are fully blocked south of Beverly Park Road in Mukilteo following a fatal hit-and-run collision on Tuesday.
At approximately 6:35 a.m., the crash involving a motorcycle and a car occurred, and the car fled without stopping, Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Kelsey Harding told KIRO Newsradio.
🚨S525 at Beverly Park Rd is fully blocked for a car v. motorcycle hit and run fatality collision. There is a northbound lane and the turn lane closed as well. Please be patient while troopers on scene investigate this tragic collision.

Incident Response, Washington State Patrol (WSP), and fire crews have responded to the scene.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) urged travelers to plan for delays and seek alternate routes.
UPDATE: SB SR 525 is fully blocked just south of Beverly Park Rd (MP 4) in Mukilteo due to a collision. There is no ETA on when lanes will reopen.

There is currently no estimated time for the lanes to reopen.
