Both directions of State Route (SR) 9 near Snohomish have been closed due to water over the highway.
The closures are from SR 9 near Lowell Larimer to Marsh Road at milepost 7 to 8, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced.
WSDOT advised travelers to use alternate routes throughout the area.

“Follow all road closed signage because ‘Road Closed’ isn’t a suggestion. It’s a polite way of saying ‘Don’t be a headline,’” Trooper Kelsey Harding stated.
This is a developing story, check back for updates.
