A 31-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing a man in the back of the head with a toothbrush at Alki Beach on Sunday.
The incident occurred at approximately 11 a.m. near Salty’s Seafood Restaurant, according to KIRO 7.
The Seattle Police Department (SPD) said the woman “jabbed a 34-year-old man in the back of the head with the backside of what appeared to be a toothbrush.”
Both individuals appeared intoxicated during incident, victim refused medical treatment
Both parties appeared to be intoxicated, and there was an altercation before the assault, SPD said.
The victim sustained a scratch and put a bandage on his head. Officers saw dried blood, but noted he was not actively bleeding.
The man was being uncooperative and refused medical treatment. The victim was ultimately released from the scene.
Officers said the suspect was booked into the King County Jail and is facing assault charges.
