A months-long Auburn Police Department (APD) investigation resulted in two arrests last week, with several pounds of narcotics being seized.

APD’s Special Investigations Unit, along with Valley SWAT, arrested two male suspects on Nov. 12, who were allegedly selling and distributing narcotics, APD announced.

Both suspects were taken into custody in Graham, WA, outside one of the suspects’ storage units.

Auburn PD seizes several pounds of narcotics, multiple firearms

The APD seizure yielded 176 ounces of methamphetamine (11 pounds), three ounces of fentanyl powder, and 14 firearms, which included a stolen AR-15 rifle.

APD thanked the contributing efforts of several law enforcement departments, including the Special Investigations Unit, Valley SWAT, General Investigations, the Community Response Team, and all other supporting agencies that helped remove the narcotics and firearms from the community.

“This coordinated effort highlights the dedication and professionalism of all personnel involved,” APD stated. “A job well done by everyone involved.”
