Customs officers seize over 11K counterfeit Labubus in Seattle

Thousands of fake Labubus were seized in Seattle.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers seized 11,134 counterfeit Labubu dolls valued at $513,937.76, according to the agency.

“Excellent work by our diligent and meticulous CBPOs!” Director of Field Operations for CBP Seattle Field Office, Brian Humphrey, wrote on X Friday.

Humphrey also referenced a meme circulating social media, jokingly stating, “We’re still on the lookout for the one and only 24K GOLD Labubu.”

His post also caught the attention of the CBP’s main account.

“Fake Labubus are not welcome in America. Thanks for the good catch Seattle!” the agency wrote on X.

Most expensive Labubu in the world sells for $10,500

Labubu dolls have been trending recently. The toys, typically ranging from $40 to $2,000, are used as fashion accessories and collector items.

The most expensive Labubu in the world sold for $10,500 on eBay in July, according to The New York Post.
