The Seattle Police Department (SPD) reported on Saturday that a 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred around 4 p.m. on August 13.

The shooting happened at a 7-Eleven in the View Ridge neighborhood not far from the Magnuson Community Center.

According to SPD, the store is on Sand Point Way Northeast. Police arrived and found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Officers said they gave aid until the Seattle Fire Department arrived at the scene.
