Police hunt for gunman after bullet grazes man in First Hill

Seattle police officers are investigating a shooting near the intersection of Broadway and East Fir Street on First Hill after a 25-year-old man was injured.
Officials with the Seattle Police Department confirmed that the man was grazed by a bullet in the forehead.
“There was a physical altercation that resulted in a young man getting shot in the head, in the forehead,” SPD Detective Eric Munoz said. “It was a graze wound on the forehead. He was transported to the hospital.”

Officers said the suspect likely left the area before they arrived.
“We don’t have him identified,” Munoz said. “We have a good suspect description. There was video surveillance footage that we found useful. Unfortunately, we believe the suspect fled the scene.”
Seattle Fire Department medics treated the man at the scene before transporting him to Harborview Medical Center. He is in stable condition.
