Police search for stabbing suspects in June attack

Police are searching for two suspects who they believe fatally stabbed a man in Seattle’s University District last June.
The stabbing occurred on June 22 around 4:00 a.m., near Northeast 50th Street and University Way Northeast, according to a Seattle Police Department (SPD) blotter post.
After the man was stabbed, he walked half a block to the 4700 block of University Way Northeast before collapsing.
“Despite all life-saving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at Harborview Medical Center,” SPD stated.
SPD Detective Brian Pritchard described one suspect as “a light-skinned Hispanic or Black male, light-colored distressed jeans, black puffer, wearing a chain with a notable gold emblem around his neck.”
The other suspect was on a dark bicycle with thin tires and a larger stem.
He is also described as a light-skinned Hispanic or Black male, wearing “cargo-style jeans, shiny puffer jacket with a possible tear on the back left, and black gloves with what may be white finger bone designs on them,” Pritchard said.
