Police looking for suspect after shots fired on St. Martin’s campus

Local law enforcement is actively looking for a suspected shooter after multiple shots rang out on St. Martin’s University’s campus in Lacey on Monday.

At approximately 6:45 p.m., Lacey Police Department (LPD) officers responded to reports of multiple shots fired near the St. Martin’s University campus, LPD announced.

St. Martin’s locked down after multiple shots fired on campus

The campus was immediately placed on lockdown as a result of the shooting.

LPD officers quickly worked to clear the campus and located a window with a bullet hole in it on the Pacific Avenue side of the campus’s Pavilion.

Thankfully, there were no injuries reported and no other damage to university property.

LPD is currently requesting that anyone with information on the incident contact the department at (360) 704-2740 and reference case 2026-00426.
