Teen lured from Lynnwood apartment, stabbed by acquaintance

A 17-year-old victim was lured out of his Lynnwood apartment on Sunday and stabbed by a known acquaintance.
At approximately 3:13 p.m., Lynnwood Police responded to a reported stabbing in the 20900 block of 44th Avenue W. in Lynnwood, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office announced.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the victim was called out of his apartment, distracted, and stabbed by an 18-year-old male.
Lynnwood stabbing suspect flees the scene
After the stabbing, the suspect fled into a wooded area and threw away the knife. Deputies located the suspect at a nearby business plaza shortly after.
Along with the 18-year-old suspect, a 19-year-old female accomplice was also located. Both were taken into custody without incident.
The victim was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The male suspect was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for first-degree assault. The female suspect was booked for first-degree assault with a domestic violence enhancement.
Officers noted that all parties involved in the stabbing were known to each other.
