Suspect on the run after stabbing near Olympic Sculpture Park

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is actively looking for a suspect who stabbed a man multiple times Sunday afternoon.
According to the department, the stabbing occurred near the Olympic Sculpture Park, along Broad Street, in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood at approximately 5:45 p.m. Sunday. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 21-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times.
The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center, and is in serious condition, as of this reporting.
Celebration of life fight led to stabbing
SPD later determined that a fight broke out during a celebration of life ceremony. The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times and ran off before police arrived. Officers searched the area, but could not find him.
