Has the Maricopa County Sheriff stepped in it?

Listen to Dave Ross Commentary: Has the Maricopa County Sheriff stepped in it?
For the past six months, Sheriff Joe Arpaio has had one of his volunteer posses investigating an issue that supposedly was settled last year: the president’s birth certificate. Well, investigator Michael Zullo announced yesterday is it not settled:
“I notified Sheriff Arpaio immediately and advised him we believed we had a forgery,” said Zullo.
You remember the image of the president’s long form birth certificate released last year…typed by an old typewriter on a green pattern? Well, Arpaio’s investigators dissected that electronic file, and found it was organized in digital layers…

“We literally had the capability to go into that file and turn off the green safety paper background.”
However, within hours of the news conference, an Adobe expert by the name of Whet Moser, posted a video where he scans his own genuine paper birth certificate, opens it up in the same program the sheriff used, and look at that! Layers! He could change the background. He could change the date. Because the Adobe pdf software that we all use just does that! Mr. Moser invites you to try it with your own birth certificate.
“You could try it yourself. I’m afraid probably Obama is not a space lizard and neither am I,” said Moser.
So by the sheriff’s standards, every electronic image is a forgery. By the way, when I looked closely at the image of Sheriff Arpaio himself on my computer screen, I noticed it was made up of little red green and blue squares.
Wait until Maricopa county finds their sheriff is made up of a collection of pixels.
