It was Sunday on Meet the Press when head of the AFL-CIO Richard Trumka was asked what he thought about Vice President Joe Biden as a possible presidential candidate.

“Joe Biden has been a champion for working people all of his life. He’s a blue collar guy and he is liked by the membership. He would make a good president, Hillary would make a good president,” Trumka said. “The question becomes: are they willing to articulate a message that really says, ‘I’m not only going to talk about changing the rules of the economy, but I’m going to fight to make them a reality?'”

That was on Sunday. And on Monday, who was in Pittsburgh, standing next to Richard Trumka talking about changing the rules of the economy?

“The tax code is not fair. It’s simply not fair,” Biden said.

The vice president was standing in front of an America flag wearing a steelworker cap, putting aside his notes and taking off his jacket.

Biden further launched into a manifesto of middle class rights.

“Being middle class means you have a chance to own your home, not just rent it,” he continued.

Biden then joined the Labor Day parade and was jogging along the route shaking hands.

The same Joe Biden, who is 72 years old, just lost a son, and said last week he wasn’t certain if he and his family had the “emotional energy” for another campaign.

“So organize, organize, organize,” Biden chanted in Pittsburgh.

All I can say is: I’ll have what he’s having.
