Another week in the presidential campaign gone by and none of the candidates could upstage _____.

I notice there is an effort underway to stop covering _____ in the press. Glenn Beck announced that he will not cover _____ any more, Huffington Post has relegated him to the Entertainment section, a couple of magazines have started a stop _____ movement.

So I went through the sound clips from over the weekend looking for clips from any candidate who is not _____.

There was a clip from Jeb Bush, who was still trying to defend his brother’s handling of Iraq.

“We didn’t have to get out in 2011,” Bush told the press, only to be reminded by an audience member that his brother, George, signed the deal to leave Iraq.

“It could have been modified and that was the expectation,” Bush responded.

There was Hillary Clinton still insisting no one really cares about her e-mail server.

“We’ll see how this all plays out, but it’s not anything that people talk to me about as I travel around the country,” she said.

There was Bernie Sanders at the Iowa State Fair talking about a revolution.

“We need a political revolution in this country,” Sanders said.

And then there were the clips from _____. He said yes, he is going to deport anyone who is in America illegally, that his views on foreign policy are based on watching the news, and that Jeb Bush is a puppet. And he told Chuck Todd, host of Meet the Press, that thanks to his being the guest, Meet the Press would get the highest ratings it has gotten in years.

He also said he’ll spend a billion dollars on his campaign if necessary. But I predict he won’t need to spend anywhere near that much. Because even if everyone in the organized news media stopped covering ____ today, we would all still know who _____ is. Right?

Ross: Voters weren’t just voting for change, they were voting for a hormone
