Now they’re targeting the financial system?

Did you see the latest outburst over the anti-Mohammad video: A cyber attack on bank websites supposedly launched by radical Muslim hackers who call themselves the Cyber fighters of “Izz ad-din Al qassam.” They’re going after the Bank of America and the Stock Exchange.
This is very annoying. You know there was a line in the President’s speech at the UN yesterday which pinpoints what’s messed up about the world. He was saying he understands not all nations share the US approach to free speech.
“At a time when anyone can spread offensive views around the world with the click of a button, the notion that we can control the flow of information is obsolete,” said Obama.
What leaps out about that statement is how breathtakingly obvious it is to anyone who’s been awake for the past 15 years. And yet look who seems to think this stuff can still be controlled! The western educated President of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai.
“I call upon leaders in the West, both politicians and the media to confront Islamophobia in all it’s many forms,” said Karzai.
Well, if we’re talking about the Internet, there is always going to be Islamophobia just as there will always be anti-semitism, homophobia, racism, terrible dance routines. Anything can happen when you click that left button.
Let me just ask you this Cyber fighters of Izz ad-din Al qassam — if you’re cyber-clever enough to attack the Bank of America and the NYSE, why don’t YOU just remove the videos?
Why don’t you scrub it from the Internet? And get rid of some of the dance routines while you’re at it.
