Richard Kamrowski, 65, of Framingham, Mass., left, stands with his attorney Joseph Comenzo, Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, in Waltham, Mass., where he was arraigned on charges including malicious destruction of a motor vehicle. Two Massachusetts men involved in an apparent case of road rage in which one drove at speeds of up to 70 mph with the other clinging to the hood of his car, have been arraigned. We now know that the road rage incident on the Massachusetts Turnpike, the video of which has swept the nation, was over a simple sideswipe crash. According to the Boston Globe, the man driving the now-famous white SUV allegedly drifted into a pickup truck, hit the mirror, and drove off.

The pickup driver, Richard Kamrowski, caught up with him and demanded they exchange information. At this point, Mr. Kamrowski either jumped on, or was scooped up by, the hood of the accelerating SUV.
As for what happened next?
Tom Cruise needed a harness when he hung onto that plane in “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.” Richard Kamrowski hung on to that hood – with only his fingertips.
But not only did he hang on without a harness – he made a phone call! And did I mention he’s 65!
So there is a lesson here – besides that road rage is wrong, don’t do it. The lesson is you never know how strong you are until you’re hanging on to a speeding car by your fingertips on the Massachusetts Turnpike.
And as unhealthy as road rage is, by golly it’s good to know that even ordinary people can do their own stunts if they need to.
