Listen to Dave Ross Commentary: The ultimate Dark Horse
We’re just a few weeks from the starting gun in the race to the Republican nomination, but none of it may matter.
“Because if the Republicans pick the wrong person, I would in fact seriously consider running,” said Donald Trump.
Donald Trump was forced to cancel his debate after only two candidates agreed to show up, but he made it clear on his YouTube channel that he’s not going away.
“If the wrong person’s in there, somebody that’s not going to beat Obama, or if the economy continues to be bad and we have the wrong person, I would seriously think about running.”
But Dave, you say — ‘Wasn’t it just last May that Trump ruled out running for President?’
You mean when he said this: “I will not be running for president, as much as I’d like to.”
True…but now, with Republicans having serial love affairs with every candidate except the electable ones, Trump thinks that he may be who the voters really want:
“Because they’re tired of having this country be ripped off by China, by OPEC.”
He says he could announce in June, or even after the convention!
Hey — it happened 20 years ago. Remember Ross Perot…
“We have got to stop sending jobs overseas.”
Very similar theme:
“Everybody is ripping off the United States and making us a poor nation,” said Trump.
And as a result, Bill Clinton won with less than 50% of the vote.
If you see a Democrat today ask him if he believes in Santa Claus.
