Why did President Barack Obama do nothing?

An expose in The Washington Post reveals that President Barack Obama knew last August that Vladimir Putin himself had ordered the attack on the 2016 election.

He knew Putin ordered the email hack, the release of the emails, and some of the phony stories that circulated on social media. He did nothing at the time.

Obama’s advisers wanted him to go public to warn the voters! But the president made no public statement.

On Sunday talk shows Democrats like Senator Joe Manchin couldn’t believe it.

“Well, what was known back in August, and once it was verified and cross-checked, should have been made public,” he said.

But the most astonishing reaction – well, you know who had the most astonishing reaction.

“If he had the information, why didn’t he do something about it? He should have done something about it,” President Donald Trump said.

President Trump – who back in August was declaring in speech after speech the election was rigged against him — now wishes Barack Obama had done something.

Let’s think about that. If Mr. Obama last August had announced that the actual rigging was, in fact, Putin trying to help Trump, what would Trump have said? Well, I guess based on what he’s saying now, he would have said:

This is terrible. I may disagree with Hillary Clinton on many things, but I am telling Vladimir Putin to butt out. And I urge all of my followers to 100 percent ignore these email leaks, and to stop forwarding dubious social media stories.

Because the last thing I want is for my supporters to be duped by the Russians!

That is what Trump would have said.
