It happened during an interview on KJTV in Lubbock Texas: County judge Tom Head suddenly felt the need to warn citizens what will happen if Barack Obama is re-elected.

“He is going to try and hand over the sovereignty of the United States to the U.N. What is going to happen when that happens? I’m thinking worst case scenario now, civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war,” says Head.

And this won’t be one of those FUN civil wars, where you just burn a few buildings and you’re back home in time for Grey’s Anatomy.

“We’re talking Lexington, Concord, take up arms and get rid of the guy,” says Head.

And the judge knows exactly what will happen next. Since the President could never get our good American boys to bail him out.

“He’s going to send in U.N. troops. U.N. with the little blue beanies,” says Head.

But rest assured — there is one place those blue beanies will never set foot — because there’s a certain Judge they’ll have to get past first.

“I don’t want them in Lubbock County so I’m going to stand in front of their armored personnel carriers and say you’re not coming in here. And the sheriff I’ve already asked him. I said, ‘Are you going to back me?’ He said, ‘Yeah, I’ll back you,'” says Head.

If only they’d been in Beijing in 1989! China would be a Jeffersonian Democracy today!

But why, you ask, was Judge Tom Head of Lubbock County talking about civil war? Because he had gone on the air to explain his proposed property tax increase! Another $34 a year on a $200,000 house. To expand the sheriff’s office and raise the pay of prosecutors!

A tax increase, I’m guessing, that isn’t popular in Lubbock — unless it’s protecting Lubbockians from the blue beanies.
