Experts are vigilantly monitoring a Washington volcano after a series of earthquakes struck the area, reported The Daily Mail earlier this week.

Located in Central Washington, active volcano Mount Adams has been put on “high alert,” according to the media outlet.

Jake Skorheim, co-host of “The Jake and Spike Show,” played a sound depicting how he felt: “Oh great!”

“I was not happy about it,” he said.

Spike O’Neill noted there were nine events registering between 0.9 and 2.0 on the volcano in September, and usually, there is only one every three years.

“That’s troubling,” Spike said.

He added that there are many small towns in the path of the volcano.

However, Jake said, ” I do think there is a bit of hyperbole that plays into this.”
