Clothing makers release lines catered to concealing weapons

Clothing makers are finally addressing the “unsightly
bulge” that sometimes results when carrying a concealed
weapon.
“That’s the worst thing about it, when you carry a
concealed weapon, you don’t want an unsightly bulge,” said
97.3 KIRO FM host Dave Ross in a discussion of the new
garment options on The Ross and Burbank Show.
Outdoor clothing company Woolrich is offering a full
line of concealed-weapon-friendly clothing.
“Feel confident when carrying your licensed firearm with
concealed carry clothing from Woolrich,” says the
company’s website.
The product descriptions explain how the seemingly
ordinary clothing can help you carry firearms more
discreetly.
“The Continent Shirt looks like an ordinary casual short-
sleeve shirt, but false buttons with magnetic closures at
waist and chest make it ideal for concealed carry.”
The line includes shirts, lightweight jackets, and pants.
“The Elite Concealed Carry Chinos have the clean profile
of a standard pair of pants with no external cargo or
utility pocketing, but offers the added advantage of of a
hidden chamber pocket strategically constructed to reduce
printing,” says the website.
“I guess if people want to look stylish while they’re
walking around with their concealed weaponry, who’s to
stop them,” said co-host Luke Burbank.
“Thanks to these pants, everybody can use the fact – he
might be armed – as an excuse,” said co-host Dave Ross.
