When Maria Dmitrienko accepted the gold medal for her Kazakhstani shooting team at the international games in Kuwait this weekend, she was rewarded with an insulting parody song about her country.
The games’ organizers meant to play the Kazakhstani national anthem as Dmitrienko was honored for her accomplishments. But instead, they accidentally played the profane version that comedian Sacha Baron Cohen created for his Borat film. Here are some of the lyrics:
