For 52 years, Rick Rizzs has been a fan with a microphone.
Eight years in the minor leagues. 44 in the big leagues. 41 with the Seattle Mariners. Now, as the final season comes to a close, Rick is reflecting on the journey, the friendships, and the voice that helped shape it all: Dave Niehaus.
From the Kingdome to T-Mobile Park, through lean years and magic carpet rides, Rick has been the eyes and ears of the Pacific Northwest. Now, he's looking forward to spending time with his grandkids, traveling to Italy to see his family's roots, and maybe sitting in the stands with a cold beverage, watching the game as a fan for the very first time.
