WA AG Challenges Ruling That Blocked Income Tax
Washington’s tax debate is heating up. Attorney General Nick Brown says the state Supreme Court’s long-standing decision in Culliton v. Chase — which blocked a graduated income tax — was wrongly decided.
But former Attorney General Rob McKenna is pushing back, arguing the current AG’s office may be overstepping its role by advising lawmakers on the issue.
