Washington Is the No. 1 State for Retail Theft?!
Charlie Harger ran into a Walmart this past weekend to grab a wrench. The entire tool aisle was behind plexiglass. So was the spray paint, the cold medicine, and the underwear. A 15-minute errand took an hour. He wasn't the only customer waiting.
Forbes ranks Washington the No. 1 state in the country for retail theft impact. The state ran a pilot program last year that actually worked. Then Governor Bob Ferguson cut $500,000 of the funding out of a nearly $80 billion budget. Charlie on who's really paying the price of the plexiglass.
