2026 Northwest Idea House Unveiled in Bellevue; More Than 100 Tour Luxury Wellness-Focused Home

More than 100 guests gathered at the 2026 Northwest Idea House at Clyde Hill on June 23 for an exclusive evening event that spotlit luxury home-design innovation and offered endless inspiration for anyone dreaming about their next home project.
425 annually pairs up with a home builder to highlight a particularly creative local home — which then gets the Northwest Idea House moniker — in the pages of the magazine.
Welcomed by representatives for Azori (formerly MN Custom Homes) and 425, visitors enjoyed light bites while touring the stunning custom home and discovering the latest trends in architecture, interior design, smart home technology, and wellness-focused living.
425 publisher Josh Dunn greeted attendees before Shaun McFadden, who co-founded Azori with Joe Naeseth, shared the story behind the company’s new name. The luxury homebuilder and infill developer serves homeowners throughout the greater Seattle area, as well as Scottsdale and Phoenix. McFadden explained that the rebrand from MN Custom Homes to Azori reflects the company’s continued evolution and vision for creating exceptional homes designed for modern living.
Lead designer Elizabeth Wenning additionally spoke about how every room was thoughtfully crafted with wellness, comfort, and connection in mind.
Throughout the evening, attendees explored the home’s dozens of cutting-edge features, including expansive Pella windows that flood the abode with natural light — which also looks to reflect circadian rhythms and promote healthier sleep patterns — and a tranquil primary suite complete with a Japanese soaking tub. A dedicated relaxation room, featuring light-therapy technology and a warming drawer for heated towels or hot stones, creates a true spa-like retreat at home.
Stylish, well-thought-out design features continue throughout the residence, including a sophisticated, dramatic kitchen featuring dark gray counters and an eye-catching island-light fixture that doubles as art; calming wallpaper selections; and seamless smart-home technology — one memorable example of which was speakers hidden within the ceilings.
Guests also admired the subtle attentiveness toward everyday conveniences, such as a water-bottle-filling station in the mudroom, elegant pocket doors, and more.
The outdoor living spaces are equally impressive, offering multiple gathering areas for entertaining, relaxing, and simply enjoying the surrounding neighborhood. The spectacular rooftop retreat has sweeping views; solar panels also stud the top of the home.
425 will feature the Northwest Idea House in the magazine and online later this fall. It will also be featured on KING 5’s Evening Magazine.
