The Point Defiance Marina’s ongoing Fish Tales series is one way to inspire little nature-lovers. Participants can take a trip to the marina every second Thursday of the month, from 11 a.m. to noon, for a reading of an aquatic-themed book, followed by a hands-on craft. The event is free and geared toward kids, but welcomes all ages. Dates for the next Fish Tales events are July 9 and Aug. 13. Get more details here.
