Initiative 1631
A) Imposes and defines a “good faith standard” to determine when use-of-force is warranted by police; also requires police to render first aid to people they use force upon.

C) Officially establishes that either Joel McHale or Chris Pratt is the funniest celebrity to emerge from Washington state – to be ultimately determined by a wrestling match in a Thunderdome-style ring.
D) Sponsored by soda companies to prevent the spread of soda taxes (beyond Seattle where there already is one).

Initiative 940
A) Imposes and defines a “good faith standard” to determine when use-of-force is warranted by police; also requires police to render first aid to people they use force upon.
B) Sponsored by soda companies to prevent the spread of soda taxes (beyond Seattle where there already is one)
C) Establishes Dick’s as the official food of the State of Washington.
D) Imposes fee on carbon polluters; revenue managed by an unelected board to use toward environmental causes.

Initiative 1639
A) Imposes and defines a “good faith standard” to determine when use-of-force is warranted by police; also requires police to render first aid to people they use force upon.
B) Modifies gun control regulations, such as upping the age to buy a semi-automatic rifle to 21 and requiring a 10-day waiting period along with a gun safety course.
C) Regulates the use of pumpkin spice to coffee-related consumables ONLY, and forces Starbucks to go back to its original pumpkin spice recipe because that was better anyway.
D) Sponsored by soda companies to prevent the spread of soda taxes (beyond Seattle where there already is one).

Seattle Proposition 1
A) Imposes and defines a “good faith standard” to determine when use-of-force is warranted by police; also requires police to render first aid to people they use force upon.
B) Sponsored by soda companies to prevent the expansion of soda taxes already present in Seattle.
C) Reclassifies RVs as residences, single-family homes as vehicles, and multi-family housing as RVs.
