The popular breakfast chain, Eggslut, is opening its first Washington location today at Seattle’s Melrose Market, the company announced.

Seattle’s newest breakfast spot is located at 1527 Melrose Avenue in Capitol Hill.

Eggslut will host an opening celebration from Friday to Sunday, officially opening its doors to the public each day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Come early, bring your friends, enjoy the morning with quality breakfast made to order and be part of Eggslut’s Seattle debut. Let’s eat, celebrate, and give back together!” Eggslut stated.

Following the Eggslut opening celebration, hours will adjust to 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

Eggslut’s opening celebration will offer a limited-edition Eggslut-branded fridge magnet for $1, with each purchase to be donated to Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Other special perks and surprises will be offered throughout Eggslut’s opening celebration, which will only be available this weekend.

Eggslut encouraged Seattle’s foodies to bring a pet to the celebration, as “furry friends” are welcome to join in on the festivities.

What to expect at Eggslut:

Founded by a gourmet chef in 2011, Eggslut’s creation was inspired by the head chef’s love of eggs.

“The menu is a balance of comfort and innovation, celebrating food that appeals to both novice and extreme foodie through classic comfort fare with a twist, all encompassing our key ingredient, eggs,” the company stated.

Customers can choose a classic bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with chipotle ketchup on a warm brioche bun, or purchase a side of homemade french toast sticks, dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with maple custard.

“When patrons dine with Eggslut, we want it to be more than just a meal; we want it to be an experience. Our focus is on the quality and taste of our food, consistent presentation, and great customer service,” Eggslut stated.

Eggslut also offers innovative customizations of classic meals by adding eggs to their own variation. The Eggslut cheeseburger features ground angus beef, a cage-free over-medium egg, caramelized onions, bread and butter pickles, cheddar cheese, and dijonanaise on a warm brioche bun.

With the addition of Washington’s first location, Eggslut now operates in California, Nevada, Tokyo, and London.
