As part of a three-state tour to promote her “Be Best” campaign, first lady Melania Trump is scheduled to visit Seattle on Monday.

Trump will visit Oklahoma, Washington and Nevada to “promote the three pillars of her initiative Be Best, which includes the well-being of children, online safety and opioid abuse,” The Office of the First Lady said in a news release.

After visiting an elementary school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Monday the first lady is expected to visit a tech company near Seattle. The tech company was not named in the news release, but she is expected to land at Boeing Field shortly before 1 p.m.

At the tech company, Trump is expected “to receive a tour and briefing on some of their programs and applications meant to teach children online safety, as well as technology innovations meant to help children with disabilities,” the news release said.

Unofficially, the company she is visiting may be Microsoft, whose technology for children with disabilities was highlighted in Super Bowl ads.

The First Lady’s visit to Seattle is the first visit she’s had there since the presdient was inaugurated in 2016.

Following her visit to Seattle, Trump is expected to travel to Las Vegas to participate in a town hall meeting on the opioid epidemic.

“Whether it is social media and technology or drug and alcohol abuse, children in our country and around the world are faced with many challenges,” Trump said.

“Through Be Best I will continue to shine a spotlight on the well-being programs that provide children the tools and skills required for emotional, social and physical well-being and promote successful organizations, programs, and people who are helping children overcome some of the issues they face while growing up in the modern world.”
