The aftermath of Wednesday night’s windstorm is still being felt throughout the Puget Sound region.

Downed trees caused two house fires in Lynnwood just around 9:30 a.m.

Puget Sound Energy reported that about 14,800 customers were still without power by the evening following the storm. Snohomish County PUD reports about 13,000 customers are without power.

Seattle City Light reports outrages have knocked out power to street lights, causing traffic backups on local roads.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s office says three roads are closed due to trees into power lines.

Wind throughout Thursday morning also caused a scare on the water. The Department of Ecology reports the wind contributed to sinking a vessel near Bellingham, where three people were rescued.

The National Weather Service reports some of the strongest winds reported:

&#8226 Destruction Island: 77 mph

&#8226 Sandy Pt. Shores: 71 mph

&#8226 Whidbey Island: 64 mph

&#8226 La Push: 62 mph

&#8226 Lopez Island: 62 mph

&#8226 Hoquiam: 61 mph
