Man trying to break up fight, stabbed to death in Everett

Apr 21, 2014, 6:52 AM | Updated: 7:34 am

A man was stabbed to death early Monday morning in south Everett in what police consider some type of family fight.

Officers were dispatched to an apartment building near West Casino Road.

“When we arrived, we found an adult female providing CPR to an adult male victim,” said police sergeant Ryan Dalberg.

The man died at the scene.

“The victim appears to have stepped in and tried to break up an altercation,” he added.

A police dog was called in and tracked a suspect, who was located and arrested a short distance away. Police say the man in custody is cooperating with detectives.
