UPDATE: Kent police have located missing teen Trajan C. McCallister. The disabled 14-year-old was reported missing Monday afternoon.

Police took McCallister to an area hospital and determined he was fine.
============================

The Kent Police Department has asked for the public’s help to locate a missing teen who may be in danger without his prescription medication.

Trajan C. McCallister, 14, was last seen Monday afternoon at the East Hill skate park at 116 Ave. SE and SE 240 St. in Kent. According to police, the park is a popular meeting place for teenagers and is just four blocks from McCallister’s home.

He did not return home Monday night and failed to show up to school on Tuesday.

McCallister is confined to a white wheelchair with a black seat. He is described as a black male, 5′ 10″ tall, 165 pounds, and was last seen wearing a red “Jordan” sweatshirt and black jeans. He has pierced ears and dental braces.

His family tells police he is dependent on his medication and that his health is at risk.

“We are very concerned for Trajan’s health situation. His inability to access his medications may impair his physical condition quickly,” said Kent Assistant Police Chief Pat Lowery.

Police have searched the area around the park and will continue their search in Covington, where McCallister is known to have friends.

Lowery said they do not suspect foul play and it is likely McCallister left home after having a dispute with family members.

Anyone who has information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
