Traffic on Mukilteo Speedway slowed by fire response

All lanes of northbound SR 525 (Mukilteo Speedway) were blocked at Beverly Park Road due to a nearby structure fire early Thursday morning.

One lane reopened around 6:30 a.m.

The Washington State Department of Transportation suggests drivers use alternate routes if they’re headed to Mukilteo or Paine Field.

KIRO 7 reports crews are responding to a 2-alarm fire.
