The victim was waiting for a rideshare around 4:25 a.m. Feb. 1 on 11th Avenue between East Union and East Pike in Seattle. The suspect parked near her and demanded, at gunpoint, that she get into his car.

The woman called for help and ran away. The suspect drove away.

Police description of the kidnapping suspect is vague — he’s black, in his 20s or 30s and is about 5′ 10″ with a medium build. Investigators have released a sketch of the suspect with hopes that someone will recognize him.

Seattle police have surveillance video of the incident, but they are not releasing that material at this time.
