Seattle to get beeping Spin scooters

You might start hearing beeping coming from some of Seattle’s electric rental scooters.
About 1,000 Spin scooters are hitting town, equipped with a system that makes noise when a rider is on a sidewalk, which is forbidden, or if the scooter gets parked incorrectly.
No word yet on what to do if you have a pile of beeping scooters outside your window while you are trying to sleep.
Seattle is one of the first cities in the country testing audible e-scooters.
