Where did summer go?

Big Changes! We’re finally getting a break from the heat, haze, and smoke.
Onshore winds pushed much of the low-level haze out overnight, while low clouds are bringing cooler temperatures and cleaner air Wednesday.
We could see a little drizzle Wednesday morning before the clouds slowly break up and sunshine returns in the afternoon.
Highs will be in the mid-70s Wednesday, with cooler weather on the way.
A few showers are possible Thursday and Friday, with another chance for spotty rain Saturday.
The Northwest Interior, north of Puget Sound, could see more consistent showers on Saturday, but most of the lowlands should stay fairly dry.
Temperatures will drop to around 70° Friday into early next week.
If we stay below 70°, it will be Seattle’s first sub-70° day since July 16.
It’s a subtle shift, but it looks like it will stick around into early September.
We could still see another warm spell, but most of the really hot weather appears to be behind us.
