Don and Danny Bonaduce share the love in an alley

Don’s been wanting to meet former Partridge Family co-star Danny Bonaduce ever since he came to town to host a radio show on a competing station.

It turns out the pair are neighbors in their Seattle neighborhood, and thanks to Don’s dog, the pair finally met.

Earlier this week, the basset hound unknowingly got out of Don’s yard. Soon after, Don got a call.

“Hey, I don’t know who you are but this is Danny Bonaduce and I’ve got your dog and my wife’s allergic to dogs and I really like your dog so I’m out in the alley petting your dog,” Don recounts.

“So this message goes on and Danny doesn’t realize that he’s calling me.”

Danny didn’t realize the dog was Don’s. The pair agreed to meet in the nearby alley.

“I got out to the alley, I’m walking down the alley and there he is in all his glory. Just has his pants on, shirts off, no socks or shoes, he’s rubbing his belly.”

Don has been singing Danny’s praises on the Ron an Don Show, and when he introduced himself Don says Danny gave him a big hug.

“We’re out in the alley and we’re hugging and he won’t let go of me and he’s like ‘Hey thanks for saying all the great stuff on the radio about me.'”

It’s mutual. Danny’s been complimenting Ron and Don on his own radio show as well.

“I love that guy and he’s my neighbor. I will rub him,” Danny joked on his show about offering Don a massage.
