I stand amazed! We had callers on the show this week say that they use the toll lanes on I-405 and some said they were happy to do so.
Why Todd Herman is so focused on ST3
But I can guarantee that they are setting a foundation for a future they don’t want — of government control. Because we know how the left deals with things in Washington state.
• They hate cars (except their own)
• They hate having people live in outlying areas — look at the Hirst case regarding wells on your own land
• They believe in global warming
• They are applying all kinds of social engineering to get you out of your vehicle
• We know they want fixed light rail projects — $54 billion that is only going to move 3 percent of local people
I understand why people drive in the toll lanes. But the Washington State Transportation Commission is currently considering a per mile tax. Doesn’t the gas tax already do that?
This is all tied to the ultimate form of government control. They are going to make sure all cars sold in Washington state have a GPS tracking device or a software patch. Then the state will always know where and when you’re driving. I guarantee you, we’re going to see this happen in our lifetime if we continue going down this path.
But if we rebel against this now, we might have a chance to fight against the future that is looming before us.
As always, please listen to the full audio clip for complete context.
