Seattle’s response to semi crash shows leaders’ agenda

The dragged out response to a crash semi-truck in March is the result of city leaders pursuing their agenda, KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson said Wednesday.
“It is the pursuit of their agenda,” Dori said. “Despising automobiles.”
The Seattle Police Department acknowledged an insurance adjuster was on the scene of the March 24 crash and may have influenced how the city handled the incident. The truck was carrying thousands of dollars worth of fish.
Originally, the director of the Seattle Department of Transportation said the department did “a good job of incident response.” That conflicts with what he told reporters this week.
“Given all we know, with the benefit of hindsight, we may have elected to push the truck out of the way,” Kubly said.
The city elected to block traffic for nine hours instead of pushing the truck out of the way.
“They wanted this,” Dori said. “It helps their agenda.”
