Sick or Satire?

The Palin/Letterman controversy is nothing compared to what takes place on the Internet.

A liberal blogger has deigned to alter these images of Gov. Sarah Palin’s toddler son, Trig. This points up the disturbing double standard that liberals would vociferiously denounce any conservative person portraying President Obama’s children (or any other Democratic politician’s child) in a similar fashion yet find it allegedly humorous to do so with Palin’s child.

Also, why the vitriol for Palin now? The election’s been over for nearly 8 months. Sore winner.

Most importantly, if this is the disturbing content the blogger decided to post, where do they draw the line on really bad taste? For stuff they decide not to post?

Is there any defense for the blogger who distorted these pictures of a baby? Is this downright hate or can it be protected as satire?

UPDATE 3:00pm Pacific July 1, 2009: According to DNC spokespeople, the “official blogger” RightWingNews.com cites, Linda Kellen Biegel, has no official capacity with the DNC.
