Man hit by bus walks to Starbucks, tries to order coffee

The Seattle Fire Department says a man who was hit by a bus downtown got up and walked a block to a Starbucks, even though he was bleeding from the head.

"About 10:20 this morning we got a call from the Starbucks at 4th and Pine. There was an individual inside the Starbucks that was bleeding profusely and was attempting to make kind of incoherent coffee orders," says Kyle Moore with the Seattle Fire Department.

Moore says the well-dressed 32-year-old man apparently wasn't making a lot of sense when firefighters arrived.

"He had suffered what apparently was a concussion which would lead to him not making a lot of sense," says Moore.

The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.

A police drug recognition officer determined the bus driver showed signs of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, so he was arrested. The driver gave a blood sample and was released, pending test results.

    Must have been brain injured
to go for Starbucks over-roasted and overpriced coffee. If you want to pay that much for coffee, at least get good coffee. But Starbucks has brainwashed the public into thinking that the burned flavor is what they want. Great marketing! It even brought in an injured person....

    Starbuck's coffee
They could eliminate that bitter burned taste if they would just pass it through the horse one more time.
