Dave Ross stars as Ko-Ko in The Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society’s production of “The Mikado.”

Sharon Pian Chan is an Associate Opinions Editor at the Seattle Times.

Her op-ed took Dave Ross “by surprise” and after both shared their opinions on-air Monday, the two finally had a chance to talk to each other during a live, contentious KIRO Radio interview.
