The Edmonds Police Department is investigating a found body after community members discovered and reported it in Southwest County Park Thursday afternoon.
The recovery of the body required navigating difficult terrain on the north side of Olympic View Drive, according to the Edmonds Police Department (EPD). The body was identified as an adult man.

The body was found just before 6 p.m. Thursday. Police have yet to determine how long the body was in the area.
The cause of death will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.
