Sound Credit Union Taps New Executive Vice President

Sound Credit Union has appointed Matthew Figueroa as its new executive vice president and chief financial and risk officer.
With a bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of California Riverside, Figueroa brings nearly 14 years of experience in credit unions and financial services. He most recently served as vice president, treasurer, and investment officer at Golden 1 Credit Union in Sacramento, according to a Sound press release.
“His depth of financial expertise, strategic leadership, and commitment to member-focused growth will be a tremendous asset to our organization,” President and CEO Don Clark said in the release.
