The reward for information leading to an arrest and charge in a deadly shooting at Kitten’s Cabaret in Georgetown has increased to $15,000.
The person responsible has not been arrested.
Police responded after multiple 911 calls reported shots fired at the nightclub in the 5800 block of Fourth Ave. S. They found a 36-year-old security guard dead and a 27-year-old woman, who had recently started working at the club, shot in the leg.
Surveillance footage showed several shots being fired from a vehicle in the parking lot before it drove away. About an hour later, the vehicle was found engulfed in flames in the SODO area.
Anonymous donor boosts reward in Georgetown shooting
An anonymous donor contributed $14,000 to Crime Stoppers’ $1,000 reward.
“I think it brings some motivation for anyone who knows who is responsible,” said Jim Fuda, Executive Director of Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “They can come forward and remain anonymous.”
